Kieran had stayed away from the birthing den mostly, for fear that he would upset the mama bear. He really didn't wish to upset Bazi. he brought food often, and he would gently call in make sure she needed for nothing. Then he would be on his way. Now though today he wanted to meet the little buggars that took up the space. So with a soft sigh around him, he grasped the squirrel tails tightly in his mouth, one for each of the little babes and walked towards it.

He lay down on the outside of the den and called softly to those inside @Bazi @Allure II @Swift  @Pasha @Whittier then he waited anxious and a little excited. He hoped they would like the gifts he brought granted they might be too young yet, to play with them. But it was the thought that counted right?
A new scent. Some vibration. The sleeping Swift was the first to awake and did so with a short rrrrr before his head turned, swaying from side to side as weak eyes attempted to make out what he was looking at. But like his blob of an aunt before this newcomer was a blob too, one he did not know even by scent, really. The little Frostfur's nose twitched, and in his still half-sleepy state he rolled clumsily and landed upside down and squashed between his siblings. @Bazi swept in to help him as his incessant squeaking demanded she do, removing from his predicament and placing him closer to the blobwolf. He was not happy with this. He protested with another squeak and rrrrr, because he had just awoke and so he wanted some milk. If only there was something to distract him...
I was trying to see if others would join but oh well <3

Kieran leaned forward and sniffed gently at the pup. Assuming it was okay, as Miss Bazi had brought the pup near. He gently brushed a larger muzzle across the tiny things paw. He was so fearful of breaking him, he was a tiny thing this new little bundle. This one was Swift if he wasn't mistaken, but well Kieran wasn't entirely sure. He looked over the little boy, and spoke softly, 'owaya wee wan?  He leaned back behind him and pulled one of the squirrel tells gently from the others, and rolled it until it touched the wee ones paw. Then he waited a wolfish smile on his face, ears thrust forward with baited breath.
Stuck with me! ;)

His siblings did not wake, so it he was alone with the blob, and no teat to suckle. Swift rrrr'ed a bit more, and stuck a paw up to shove against the muzzle that came near to sniff him and touch his feet. This was not what he wanted, and he squeaked. The blob moved away for a moment, the little Frostfur turned and tried to beat back to where he wanted to be, but his mother used her paw to turn him back in the direction of their guest. He sighed. His personality was definitely evident, but unfortunately for those around him, Swift was looking like a curmudgeon.

Suddenly, something touched his paw, which he lifted from the den floor as his nose instinctively bent to sniff it. But balancing on only three paws for one as clumsy as he proved troublesome, and he fell on his side with another squeak. He then rrrrr'ed louder than before, and attacked the squirrel tail as though it had pushed him over. He grasped in his mouth and shook his head.
Yay! Okay I should be more active now that school is out.

Kieran had to back up and sneeze as the little tykes paw went and tickles his nose. It almost went the whole way up in, but luckily it did not. Kieran was positive that would not have been comfortable in anyway. Kieran heard the child sigh, as his mother pushed him back, and he a grin split his maw. He laughed a deep husky sound, the pup was definitely a big personality and it was adorable. He couldn't wait until the wee thing began to speak.

Kieran watched in delight as the tiny baby attacked the tail, and tossed it side to side. His eyes danced as he watched, occasionally he'd reach a paw in and tap the child on either side, trying to get him to play. But mostly he just watched enjoying the fierceness with which the child explored his world.
The feather was tattered and soaked, looking mighty pathetic, by the time Swift had finished mouthing it. With it conquered, he soon turned his sights on a new foe: a big ol' paw that kept prodding his sides like he was a stone to be turned. He was not. He would prove this. He pivoted with all the grace of a drunken swan and pounced on the paw the next time it came near. Though he deigned to capture it, he failed, and fell again. This time he landed on his back, paws flailing and jaws snapping at this new foe, because like the feather before, this was all its fault and had nothing to do with his inability to balance. He made a myriad of barks and yips and primitive growls to add to his display.
Kieran had to cover up a snicker as the youth tried to pivot on a dime, and ended up staggering more than pivoting. Kieran moved forward a bit when he saw the wee one fall, and he was about to help him get back up. However the youth was vicious and continued his onslaught even with his belly showing. Kieran smiled softly, and with a gentle push, tried to move the baby  back to his side, so he could roll over and up again. Kieran gave a soft growl in return, playfully of course. He tried to keep it down in sound, he didn't wish to frighten the babe, just play.
It was not for his infantile mind to comprehend that this foe was in fact a friend that was trying to assist him, so as the paw sought to help right him he continued to fight against it. But he was little, and his resistance was not solid enough to make a difference. Whether he wanted it to or not, that paw shuffled him over until he was rightways up, and so he pounced it. He grasped it as tight as he could, believing now that he had fought and won, and now had his prey pinned beneath him. Kieran's soft growl only spurred him and he mouthed the paw as growled in return.
Kieran shifted and moved his paw about. Occasionally drawing it across the babes side. Across his head, he was getting Swift's own saliva everywhere, but he laughed merrily anyway. He was enjoying this game. He just hoped the young pup was enjoying it too. He didn't want to make him angry or anything, just play. It was fun to give into the childish heart and play.
Gonna wrap this up :) last post for me!

Their game continued, with Swift attempting to capture and pin the paw and give it another good mouthing each time it moved. But he was young, little, and his energy did not yet know no bounds. Once more he managed to grab the paw, his small body held atop it. His victorious rrrrrr'ing started out strong, but quickly ebbed into soft, broken sounds as the tired boy fell asleep. Eventually he went quiet entirely.
Kieran chuckled as the child fell asleep on his paw. Being afraid to wake him, Kieran didn't move just lay down and followed suit. Closing his eyes with body halfway into the leaders den. He hoped they wouldn't mind and he didn't want to overstep his bounds, but he just didn't want to wake the wee babe.
