It had been a long few days. She'd thought a lot and hid from things that she hadn't wanted to think about. The shadow rarely experienced such things but felt that she couldn't really talk to any of them about it. She didn't want to, a part of her fearing that she would be laughed out of their fold because she did not see things their way.

This led to her breaking away from the Amazonian females today to both explore and find Sebastian. She hoped he was still in the area, sending up a brief howl to call to him and see if he was around. Her tail flickered behind her, fiery eyes staring across the flat plains as she waited.
Sebastian lazily stretched himself after a well earned nap. He had been searching for some plants that were only common in the North. The young male then figured he couldn't carry all of them, silly him right? So he let them be. He would have to do with other plants, the ones he could find in the south. When he was exploring the North he wished he was doing that with Nochtli. She was so nice and it felt to Sebastian that he could really talk to her. He wasn't his usual mess of a being.

Sebastian's head lifted when he was called. That howl he recognized anywhere. His tail wagged instantly and he turned around towards the howl. It wasn't difficult to find the black female and howled in return. The immensely large male moved forward with big steps, slowing down into a trot when he was getting close to her. "Hello Nochtli," he greeted with a bit of a beaming smile. "Good to see you again," he hummed.
Sorry for the wait x_x it was a crazy weekend. On the phone so this is short.

She didn't need to wait long. His call rose up in reply and she found a smile, now content to sit and wait. In reality, she was always a very patient wolf; it was simply that the last week or so had been rough and had frayed her nerves. But in time, she knew things would settle down.

"You too, Sebastian. How're you liking the North?" It wasn't her favorite place; she did miss the climate of the Rise but the location here was growing on her a tiny bit. It was tolerable at the very least.
Sebastian kept standing in front of her, normally he would have sat down but since Nochtli liked to be on the move he motioned her to start walking. Sebastian was good with remembering things. "You have to know that I was actually born even further North. I am used to cold and rough winters," he explained. "So being here, closer to the North compared to where I live now, is actually making me more feel at home," he admitted. He watched her beautiful orange eyes and realized that she was actually really pretty. He couldn't start stumbling now! Like he talked about with Peregrine.. Just be the cool tough guy with a fuzzy and cuddly inside.

"Can we go to somewhere there is still snow or ice?," he asked. His thick Northern coat wasn't really helping with this summer weather at all. He wouldn't mind to play in ice cold water or snow even!
So he was from the North? It explained why he wasn't so bothered by the cold. She was from damper, warmer climates and missed such things. But, if they were going to settle here in the North, she might as well get used to it. At least she could travel down South. "I wish I felt that way." It was a quick quip and nothing more. The cold just didn't sit well with her, having a thinner coat than these wolves that were built for snow and ice. Honestly, one of her favorite past times, when she wasn't out exploring, was simply laying in the sun and soaking up the heat. It made her feel so comfortable.

Her nose wrinkled for a moment, her mood deflating now that he had asked to go further into the cold. Her expression was corrected before it could be noticed, however and she simply countered with a question. "I get that you're from the North and all but you actually like snow? The cold?" She couldn't imagine why but now that the Amazon had asked, perhaps she'd discover that part.
Sebastian looked momentarily surprised. He thought that this girl would love the cold like he did. Surely he was getting adjusted to the warmer weather of the south but that didn't mean he would ever lose his love for the colder and Northern regions. "It seems we should have switched places. You with my pack in the south and I with your pack in the north," he joked. His nose bumped into her shoulder in a playful manner.

Sebastian shrugged. "I don't mind it, and being south for so long I wouldn't mind seeing a bit of snow but since you dislike it we don't need to go there. I like swimming too, or hunting, or fishing," he smiled and watched her. "The offer still stands to join the Caldera wolves in the south," he drawled. Though maybe, if the pack Nochtli was in suited him better then... maybe he would switch. On the other hand... he disliked leaving Fox and Peregrine.
Perhaps such a statement was true. The home she knew was in the south, where it was much warmer. This place was not her preferred climate but... Things were changing. Maybe a change of scenery was secretly exactly what she had needed? His nudge distracted her, making her look at him. "I was actually just gonna explore today. I need to stay on that to make sure I'm doing my job." For what kind of informant would she be if she never had any new information for her (possible) leader.

His invitation made her smile slightly, but she shook her head. "Thanks. I'm gonna tough it out though." What kind of Amazon would she be if she ran away from some ice and snow? A pansy one, that's what. "Oh I haven't had a chance to talk to Citali about teaching you yet. We've been kind of busy. If you come across her, you can ask." Not to mention, Cita's mood was getting worse and worse the closer Tezca was getting to forming this pack of his. It hadn't been the right time to ask her, so she hadn't.
Sebastian nodded softly. "If I am bothering you then I can leave," he offered. "I wouldn't want to be in the way of your duties." Sebastian often felt like he was in the way of things, often due to his body body or because he was sometimes oblivious to what was going on. Maybe he should go back to RHC soon. He really liked the north.

"It is alright. I can look for her myself or find someone else to teach me about herbs," Sebastian returned with a quick smile. He might look for her before he would go back south. He could use the information and knowledge. That was for sure. His pale eyes looked over the dark female. "What are the things you look for when exploring?"
With a shake of her head, she answered. "You're not bothering me. I just explore is all. If you get bored, you can certainly split off, but otherwise." She shrugged, moving at an easy pace. The exploration of the world was truly one of her loves in life, something that she was entirely devoted to as she was nothing else in her life. Even the faith and society of the Amazons could not hold a candle to her enjoyment of striking out on her own and submitting to her wanderlust.

He said he'd look for Cita or another teacher and Nochtli could only nod. Between Tezcacoatl's ridiculousness and her not fitting in, Nochtli just hadn't really been around the others. She needed some time to herself. "Information, really. Whatever I can learn, I learn, and if it's important enough, I report it back to my leader." Of course, Tezca hadn't even thought to ask her about her work lately which had deflated her pride in it all a bit, being that it was truly the thing she was best at, diplomacy following close after that.
Sorry I had major deadlines with school <3

Sebastian didn't mind spending some more time with Nochtli and maybe her exploring could be used when he was back at the Caldera. As an upcoming Warden he would need to observe well. "I can go with you," he assured and walked with her. He should return to the Caldera soon, he said he would take about a week and that week was almost over, he still needed to travel back. Hopefully it would go as fast as when he got here. He wouldn't want to disappoint his pack, or make them worried.

"Yes, I can see that. What would be important information to you? Which other wolves are around or more what prey are around?," he questioned. Maybe she was looking for other abnormalities he didn't even think of.
NP! I'm gonna wrap this one up since this is pretty out dated in terms of her timeline! <3

She didn't mind the company this time, moving across the lands at an easy pace. With a companion however, Nochtli moved a bit slower, unable to stretch out and really run like she normally would have. This time, she had no location in particular in her mind and simply meant to explore. "Something like that. Which packs are around and who's doing what close to our lands." She said our but it didn't feel like her home in the least, her unrest growing by the day.

Their conversation continued as they moved northward, headed towards the shoreline. Today, she sought to know simply the lay of the land, and nothing more. Her best work, her seeking of information for others was best done alone. Little did she know that things would be changing very soon.

Thread fade.
