Both of his parents died saving him from a landslide. He was then raised by his aunt for the rest of his pup hood. When he went off on his own, Ghost soon met a pretty black female, Echobark, and had one pup, Ghostecho. His mate and son soon died due to a mudslide that also killed Ghost's aunt. Ghost severely injured his right hind leg.
