A proud stance, immaculately groomed and a purposeful stride: Nakai's northern blood and benevolent personality is evident in his appearance, from coat to muzzle, height and weight. Standing tall and imposing he is a warrior and wanderer incarnate. His large built is dominated by lean but well muscled limbs, large paws and an equally strong-jawed muzzle. His coat is thick and warm, the fur being of medium length and ranging in colour from almost white belly-fur, to graphite grey back coat and darker anthracite markings around his ears and shoulders. Here and there warmer shades of grey and shadows of brown hues undermine his otherwise cool grey colouring. His ears are ever standing to attention and his bright, striking blue eyes never straying from whatever catches his interest. He's quite light-footed for so large a wolf and his muscular frame by no means limits his agility.

Personality
Nakai is a practical individual with refined manners though his sophisticated and polite tone often carries words with a biting edge. Contrary to this however, his voice is a gentle, deep baritone that hardly ever raises in volume. He's a strong believer in hierarchy and rules, following them to a T himself and expecting no less of others. He's dependable and outgoing, typically always ensuring the well-being of others before his own. He thrives when given a clear command and will stop at nothing to carry it out. He takes pride in subservience and purpose and is dedicated and caring towards his pack, the young and female in particular of whom he is fiercely protective, no matter their parentage. He tends to need to be reminded that not all are as extroverted and matter-of-fact as he is. His judgmental side he makes up for by being a good listener and charismatic companion, a calm benevolence a core trait of his. He's a strong defender of those to whom he is loyal and a paragon lieutenant in battle, rarely questioning his orders but executing them ruthlessly.

Biography
Nakai was born into a small pack of Northwestern wolves, the single male pup out of three. As curious and lively as his sisters, he was a bundle of energy as a pup that needed constant supervision through the pack beta who frequently acted as both teacher and puppy-sitter, a role that Nakai would later adopt himself. The young male grew fast, becoming just as tall and grey-coated as his father, Dakota, unlike his sisters who took after their mother's tan colouring. Come winter, the pups had grown substantially and by the age of 2 had integrated themselves into the small pack of 11. An enforcer by nature, he assumed the rank of Epsilon through challenges and shows of dominance. His rigid and stoic attitude paired with his calmness soon goaded him to become as much of a teacher and pup-sitter as a big brother to his two-years younger siblings while he did his best to keep order within his family. All seemed blissful until the pack suffered a tragic fate. A forest fire in the summer of 2014 meant the end of their harmonious existence and tore the closely knit pack apart. After weeks of searching for his relatives, Nakai had to face the harsh truth: he was alone. Solitude became his companion as he began his trek south to find a new purpose.
