Papref was born pure coyote after his mother mated with both a coyote and a wolf. This true coyote blood saved him from extermination shortly after birth. Due to his mother's allegiance with Hoshor Plains as a slave to the Khalas, Papref was also born into slavery where he too is intended to serve as a slave to their pack.
