Both his parents were wolves but he alone in his litter took on traits from his grandfathers species. Outside the realm of Wolves; his grandmother took a liaison with a Red Spitz Canis familiaris.
To this end it has brought great shame to Rowen. He denies his heritage and despises any other hybrid as it reminds him of himself.
Tired of his birth place and the ridicule placed upon his family, he left to make his own mark in the world.
He rarely speaks and will not howl. His shorter neck lends in making his voice deeper and his howl not as melodic as a wolf
