Profile of RIP Mico: Details
Appearance
Stands at approximately 45 inches at the shoulder, with a body length of eight feet (tail included). As he is still young, Micco is thinner than the average male, weighing in at just over 100 pounds. He is expected to increase in size and weight over the next few months, and will end up bulking up to the 200 pound mark at the very least. A cougar's body is designed for powerful leaping and short sprints; thus Micco is able to leap as high as 18 feet up, and about 45 feet horizontally. With a top running speed of fifty miles per hour, he is best adapted to chasing down small game as well as deer, or climbing trees to escape his canine competitors. His pelt is colored as any common cougar: overall he is a mixture of silver-tan tones with a creamy underside, darkly tipped extremities, and some faint cub spots across his hips and elbows.
Personality
Devious, or so you'd think, with all his lurking and night walking. He prowls in the early evening hours in search of food and can be antagonistic towards wolves and other animals that interrupt him. Micco is reserved, even among his own kind. He doesn't enjoy the company of other males of his species and will become territorial around them - as well as possessive towards females if they cross his path.
Biography
Micco was born within the Naaghai Lowlands, and when he reached sexual maturity, he dispersed from his mother's range in order to find his own. Moving northwest in the night hours, he has migrated to the coast and then in to the north lands, settling briefly in the Bracken Woods, only to be displaced a second time following a territorial dispute with a rival cougar. Having backtracked to the Emberwood, he now lingers between the wetlands and Mount Apikuni.
