Anita was born to her mother, Lira, on the banks of the Scarlet River. Her father was not active in her life, and never supported the small family he had gotten himself mixed up with. He saw Lira as a mate but not a mother, and didn't find himself responsible for any pups born into his family. Anita was born hardy pup, already kicking around after birth although not really getting anywhere. She was born in the autumn, her pelt matching the forest around her, which helped her stay safe.

Anita's mother had just as much of a spunky attitude as Anita later developed. She was upset that her mate had ran away at the sight of her become pregnant, and wanted to figure out what he was up to. She told Anita that it would be a quick trip, hiding her pup in the foliage. Lira went off in search of her mate, only to see him flirting with another she-wolf. Disgusted, she called him out. It didn't end well.

Anita's mother was still weak, seeing that she had given birth a few hours ago. Her mate declared the he had never seen her before, and didn't know who she was. To prove it to his new mate, Anita's father killed Lira, seeing that he didn't have to deal with her any longer. Anita waited for her mother, but she never returned. As a newborn pup, she sat in the undergrowth, waiting. The only thing to hide her from predators was her pelt.

Anita grew up as a lone wolf, the only experiences to shape her were ones of loss and misunderstandings. She came to believe that her mother left her and became very angry. Despite this, she pulled through as a lone wolf, roaming throughout the lands and struggling to survive.

When she arrived in the Teekon Wilds, a famine had struck. Anita knew she had to join a pack, so she did just that. Now, she is a pack member of the Silvertip Mountain pack, and hopes to always be a part of it.
