Appearance
His coyote heritage is evident in his appearance — his slim, wiry body is balanced on long, thin legs and his ears are larger and more pointed than a wolf's. However, instead of adorning the typical agouti pelt of a coyote, Styx was born with the same dark coat of his father. Although dark enough to be considered black, there are highlights of espresso brown that are more obvious in sunlight. To accent his handsome features, the hybrid has pale, seafoam eyes.
Personality
Carefree and cautious, the hybrid prefers to be on his own and likes to keep to himself. His personality is unstable and changes constantly; he can be quiet and observant one day and then loud and outspoken the next. He has difficulty trusting others and prefers to distance himself from who he meets. Cunning, thoughtful, aloof — likes playing tricks on others and playing games. His personality is subject to change over time.
Biography
Mother was part coyote and lived as a loner — she was courted by an Alpha of a nearby pack and became pregnant. However, when he would not accept her into his back (mainly due to him already having a mate), she was chased away by the members of the pack. She gave birth to a litter of three — Styx was the youngest and the only one who resembled his father (with his dark coat) and because of this, his mother resented him and believed that he would grow up to be exactly like his father. Once Styx and his siblings reached a year, their mother encouraged them to leave and explore on their own.
