Born in the north, where her mother was also born and raised - a lesser known mountain-dwelling pack called Markarth Peak. As an impetuous youth, Galena always had a lust for adventure and the need to prove herself to her superiors; so when stories of the world outside of the mountain reached her, she was all too eager to follow her whims. Much to the disapproval of her parents, Galena left the sanctuary that was her home - and was picked up by some human biologists who had been studying the wolves of Markarth for generations. After a case of mistaken identity (wherein the humans mislabeled her) she was dropped off in a national park in North America; it wasn't until many months later that the humans realized the mistake, and by that point she was long gone.
