Flaris was born a lanky and inelegant "ugly duckling." His thick and motley coat— lavish with naturally varying tones of earth, soot, and snow— was considered brazen, and his ruby-wine eyes were said to be hideously daunting. As an adult however, the tall, refined swain is now irrevocably handsome and artlessly graceful.
