104 lbs, 74" tall at the shoulder. Long and ragged double coat. Ears are wide at the base and slightly pointed at the top, unlike pure wolves, and the tail is super bushy. Nassim has a base coat of sterling that darkens in to a husky-like pattern, masking his face, neck, shoulders, and saddle-area with a red-chocolate tone. At the base of his shoulders is a band of dark-tipped hairs, and this extends to his rump and coats his tail with a coffee brown color. His extremities (hind limbs specifically) are grizzled and gray with silver stockings that meld in to the silver of his belly and chest. His eyes are a clear blue, a recessive trait inherited from his mother.

Nassim's family hails from the great Canadian north, where branches have been mingling their blood with that of the resident sled dogs for generations. When a team is lost in the winter wasteland, those that survive are taken in by his people - and thus, the mixing of the blood. Nassim is one of many hybrids in his muddy little family.

He was raised alongside his two sisters Sushila and Angam, both larger and mightier than himself, as well as two "cousins". He doesn't know yet that Aviv and Devan are both half-siblings, nor that his so-called aunts Anantha and Nive are both lovers of his father, Hakon.
Nassim was patrolling through the herdlands adjacent to his father's territory - along with a hunting party - when he was struck by a fanciful notion to go and explore the south. His father and sisters saw him off, wishing him well, and prayed for his swift return.
