Appearance
Marmion is nothing altogether special—although he is the smallest of his immediate family and most effeminate, even within the realm of adulthood. He is as intimidating as a stick of butter on a hot sidewalk. The boy was born delicate, like a fawn, and over time developed a creamy silver-beige complexion topped with a blue-black saddle that tapers off around his hips and tail-base. He retains an 'eternal youth' vibe which appeals to some people, although the jaundiced look on his face does not help matters, nor the nearly manic manner in which he performs his duties, almost as if there isn't enough time in the day to appease his superiors.
Relations
Born to Monet and Daguerre. Siblings include his brother Rodin and sister Coysevox; in 2018 his parents had a second litter composed of four girls: Morisot, Cezanne, Gilot and Jacquemin. He has a maternal uncle named Renoir whom he has never met, but his mother once spoke fondly of. Unknown to Marmion is the fact that Renoir's obsession with his sister resulted in a bastard litter; these children were hidden away by Daguerre's extended family and were raised without knowledge of their connection to one-another or the de la Hyre line. The boys are named Beaujolais d'Anjou and Julienas Bonne-Mares.
After being abducted by a group of ne'er-do-wells called the Glanconer Gang he was made to think his birth family was nothing but a pipe dream, a malady which persists. He was sold to a resident of Flintlock Hold after that. Upon befriending his captor and developing a relationship with them, he was eventually released—and now roams freely, unsure of his place in the universe. He is most comfortable serving others, and appears to work best at night.
