Appearance
There isn't much to be said about Cuicatl. As the descendant of a line of pure Mexican wolves, she is the prime example of her subspecies. Within her fur is a mixture of browns, creams, grays, and black. Beginning under her throat and trailing down her abdomen, there is a thick strip of pure white with edges defined in rusty neutrals.
Her eyes are a vibrant amber with white "eyebrows" and black lashes. It seems as though she has lined them with charcoal, as they are framed with black skin. Cuicatl's eyes are easily her most striking feature; although they are a common shade for every breed of wolf, her eyes have a particularly unique golden glint to them, making them "glow" in direct sunglight.
With short, thick legs and a long silhouette, Cuicatl seems to move more like a snake or lizard than a wolf. Speed is not one of her strong suits, but for what she lacks in pace, she makes up for in force. She is strong and powerful with an unrivaled grip.

Personality
To make a long story short, Cuicatl takes no shit and she tries her hardest to avoid giving too much of it. Conflict is not something she likes, as it often times leads to intense anxiety and discomfort, but she has never been one to back down from a challenge. She was raised in a culture that valued to "docile" and "submissive" nature of women, which explains why they didn't want to keep her around for longer than they had to.
Cuicatl has no problem with seeing both the good and the bad in situations; balance is key. She is quick to doubt the perfect but even quicker to challenge the grim. She isn't necessarily charitable, though she does feel compelled to help wolves who (by her standards) are in serious need.
One thing that she has always enjoyed is learning. There has never been a time in her life in which she did not enjoy trying new trades or learning knew names. Cuicatl is, all in all, a generally amiable wolf, though it is wise to stay on her good side.
