Cor was born to a large pack in the Grizalo Mountains. His father was a gray wolf and his mother an arctic wolf from the far northern reaches of Canada. Life in his birth pack was good, besides the occasional hunting accident. He was the largest and boldest of his siblings, destined to become alpha one day.

At the age of three, he became Alpha of the Southern Banks Pack. He ruled over, provided for and protected his pack for almost three good years before sickness and famine plagued the land. Wolves dispersed, many died, including his mate and son, leaving Corranochender lost and without a pack.
