Feyre was born to a large pack along with her other siblings. The pack was led by her parents, the Alpha and Alphess. The other fifteen members had various ranks, but all watched over the three remaining pups. Feyre's two sisters grew into vain creatures, unwilling to lift a paw to help the pack. Feyre was quite the opposite, following around other members and attempting to learn their trades.

Her newfound skills were put to the test when the pack was unable to feed its many members due to famine. As the pack died off from starvation and sickness, the Alpha sent the girls off on their own. Feyre, the sweet and loving little girl, became cold and diligent. She provided for her sisters in the Rivercrest Tundra, who refused to learn how to hunt or fight. They used Feyre, refusing to fight the canabalistic wolves and various creatures who saw the girls as a mere snack. When Feyre had finally had enough she left them, heading towards the Teekon Wilds. She became efficient in her methods, only stopping to hunt here and there, until finally, she crossed the border.

She wandered the wilds, slipping back into her normal self and hiding the pain and anger that lie within her. It was easier for her to let people see her as naive, rather than have them dislike her for what she is capable of inflicting. When she joined the Golden Glade, it was hard for her to pull her older skills back out to prove herself, but she started to flaunt her speed and wit. This lead her to taking on intruders by herself and earning her Mercenary trade.

In mid-April of 2017 she ran into another loner, this time the outcome was different. As the fight turned into something more, she could not bear to part ways with Embry, and invited him to meet the Alphess of the glade. His presence was met with hostility, and Feyre naively left her pack with him. They journeyed throughout the nearby territories, and her old pack disbanded shortly thereafter. One morning, Feyre woke up alone. Embry had disappeared, and with him he took what remained of her innocence of the world.

For months she traveled alone, running into other lone wolves, but never building lasting connections. Her new fear being relationships and the ever looming threat of being abandoned.
