Like an echo to the moors, Zale is an athletic individual. His long, sinewy limbs and compact hindquarters allow for powerful sprints and his narrowed, keel-like chest mirrors most of his species. A coat of ticked hazel and honey covers his forehead and extends down his spine in a mackerel pattern until it reaches his tail. At this point it fades to an eventual creamy white; the same hues that are visible on both his underbelly as well as his cheeks and inner ears. A patch of tawneyed amber follows the line of his broad muzzle towards his eyes. Due to a genetic mutation known as heterochromia, his eyes are of two varying shades; one a deep sapphire blue and the other a vibrant forest green.
