She was born to Mumik Apaata and Kaskae Aassanaaq, but was kidnapped about a month later during a small celebration for her family. Her kidnappers named her Sitala and raised her in accordance to their divergent culture. Sitala bore her first blood daughter in 2015 (Sanuye), followed by a second in 2016 (Memdi). She had a falling out from the nomadic sisterhood after her children were used to bait men, something she didn't realize was problematic until it was happening to her own blood; she was banished from them thereafter, and has been alone ever since.
