Profile of Inkenoah: Details
Appearance
To begin with stature, Inkenoah stands tall - she boasts long, slender legs supporting a lean torso; perhaps a little too thin to be considered healthy. True, on some parts of her body the skin has receded to reveal the gentle curvature of bone beneath. Her face is crafted of sharp angles, and ample scars litter her body, though many are small and appear between the fronds of her coat. Still, some are large enough to see; in particular, a set of five-six gouges mark her right hind paw in two rows, and a wicked gash on her left shoulder that has healed without fur. Her right hind paw, as expected, is somewhat twisted inward. Still, she is capable of moving graceful as a dancer. A limp only becomes apparent once she begins to run.

Her base coat appears to be a light creamy yellow, with hints of white marking her points; muzzle, paws, tail tip. Warm golden tones frame her face as a long arc beginning from her eye and curving down her cheek to end at her jaw. The same gold colours the bridge of her nose, ears, neck, and back, accentuated by hints of pale red. Inkenoah's eyes are much like her coat - a soft golden shade, like unsullied afternoon sunlight.
Personality
Inkenoah is a baffling cacophony of traits; she is all at once quiet and loud, plain as day and mystifying. The girl keeps to herself and is fairly quiet - one could call her introverted, but make no mistake that she is kind and gracious. If given the chance, Inkenoah will be quick to befriend and warm up to anybody. It very soon becomes clear that Inkenoah is highly dependent on the companionship of others and hates solitude; she is terribly incapable of living the life of a lone wolf and basks in the presence of others. She can be considered Lawful Neutral.

This creature of the sun is, unsurprisingly, incredibly afraid of the dark. This fear stems from a tragedy of her past. She prefers to be active during the day, but finds herself kept awake at night; she has greatest ease sleeping during dusk and dawn. Because of her difficulty sleeping, Inkenoah suffers from insomnia, and as a result will often doze off between jobs. Likewise, she has a fear of loud noises as well. Encountering either of her fears will cause Inkenoah to become easily spooked and seek the comfort of others. She feels she is weak because of her need for others and her fears, and is self conscious of these.

Inkenoah is productive and determined - if given a duty or responsibility, she will work until the job is done - such jobs are one of the things she is most serious about. Her body is honed for running, and she feels she is best as a scout and a runner, with her keen eyes and ears, and long legs.
Biography
Born alongside two sisters, since her birth Inkenoah was in competition against the beauty of her siblings. She lived a natural childhood in a pack led by her father; she was confident and friendly. As the first-born, Inkenoah was considered the most promising of the three sisters and trained to fight and protect. She assumed the role of a warrior well, sparring with gusto against her packmates. Her life was normal for the first year and a couple months after that. It wasn't until a hunting trip at 1.5 years old that her life changed for the worse.

Inkenoah had always been somewhat apprehensive of the dark - it was a fear roused as a child that lingered on through her life. They had set out to follow a herd of deer; in the dead of night, they calculated and made their plans, holding back in the shadows of the woods. But they were not the only hunters that night. There was a loud, indiscernible explosion - a bang that rang through the air. The deer scattered as well as the wolves, and though it was the deer intended to be the prey of the tall hunters, their hounds pursued a different creature. Inkenoah had made the mistake of entering their vision - fleeing, she had grasped their attention and they came after her, baying in their excitement. They chased her and she ran as fast as she could - through the woods, across dirt roads; and then something closed around her hind leg and she fell. A human crafted trap had twisted her leg and immobilized her, and the dogs were on her almost immediately. The sound was loud - it was all she could remember, the howling, the snarling, the pain. Shots fired into the air. She didn't know what state of affairs had caused it to end (beyond her gaze, another group of humans had dismissed the dogs and sent the hunters away; the trap had been illegally placed on their land) but she thought she had died. It had gone black - she was tranquilized and taken away, nursed back to health and released in a protected area, Teekon Wilds.

She spent days, then weeks traveling outside and on the edge of Teekon Wilds, trying to find her way back home. It soon became clear while on her own that Inkenoah was in no way fit to live on her own, let alone act as a warrior - her confidence had been broken and she could not summon the strength to defend herself, only flee. Eventually, she gave up trying to go home, and delved into Teekon Wilds in the hopes of finding a new one.

Inkenoah has terrible fear of loud noises and the dark.

Despite her heavy involvement with humans, Inkenoah has little recollection of them. After she was captured by a steel jaw trap, she was tranquilized and handled by vets, who kept her under anesthetic while handling her wounds, and then isolated in an outdoor fenced in area while she recovered, then transported in a carrier to the edge of Teekon Wilds. The whole experience was incredibly traumatizing for her and she remembers very little, if any, of it.
