It was believed that the child of Darkseid would rise and assume a position of power among the people of the bay, but they did not expect twins. The issue was remedied after the surprising death of the young Baalat Madel al-Zaurak; thereafter, the surviving child Baalat Jin was protected and taught the ways of her people, and assumed her role as Bennu, queen of her tribe. This was many years ago. Now well aged, she has watched her land fall to ruin and enslavement by rival people, and escapes to the Wilds where she will rise again.
