Personality
Possessing a very questionable morality, it is hard to distinguish when and where his intentions (while they may be good) may end up disastrous. A vulnerable nature with a limited understanding of the world, Leatherface is impaired in his use of verbal communication, opting for gestures when stringing together the 'correct' words seems too taxing for him to manage. Shaped by the company he keeps he is capable of playing the role of gentle giant or savage attack dog. Powerful and cruel in his passionate approach to violence when provoked or demanded by a 'higher up', he also has a tendency to forget his own strength even while playing.

For all his faults, Leatherface is quite simplistic in his needs and wants, as are his goals and motivations. He is eager to please, and dedicated to following through with directions although he may not always accomplish a given task on the first try. A driven need to 'survive' fuels him at the core, and while he may accept and tolerate mild physical and mental abuse without much response other than a whine, in dire situations he will fight claw and fang to preserve himself.

Biography
The Voorhees triplets were orphaned as yearlings, their parents murdered for crimes against humans. Mother Sadako had always warned her mate and children the dangers of stealing from humans, but when the small pack fell on hard times father Machete took desperate action to provide for his young family. The slaughter of a single ewe brought fire to their doorstep. The triplets had been playing in the fields nearby were left unaware until the smell of smoke clouded the air bringing them to the hellish remains of their home.<p>
Still ablaze Ghostface warned her siblings to stay back, but her brother Krueger surged forward into the flames in the hopes of saving their parents. Unsure of what to do she remained by the side of her whimpering brother Leatherface, until Krueger returned with nothing but patches of singed flesh missing from his pelt.

The death of their parents would bring them together briefly, but also tear them apart. For the next few days, stricken with grief Krueger raged demanding that they seek some revenge. Yet Ghostface argued against him, convinced they'd only meet the same fate as their parents. And Leatherface said nothing, still yet not sure what had happened at all.

Furious that his sister would not aid him, he named her a traitor. Disowning her as family, Krueger turned his attention to his brother and fed him lies claiming their parents were gone because of Ghostface. It didn't take much convincing knowing how naive their large sibling was, and with a simple command sent Leatherface after Ghostface driving her off into the distance and returning like a loyal dog to his brother's side.

Krueger traveled away from Chainsaw Hill, burdened with the care of his brother. Although Leatherface served him loyally, eventually becoming frustrated with his brother's simple nature he dropped the wolf near Northstar Vale while travelling through the Wilds and continued through the valley without him.<p>
Unaware that his brother had intended to abandon him, Leatherface stumbled along without his siblings and found his way into the Northstar Vale pack. When an avalanche blew through half the land, horribly wounded, Leatherface was tended to but the pack had taken a hard a hit and soon after disbanded; the strain from the disaster having been too much. <p>
Recovering from his wounds, Leatherface became a hermit, occupying Porcupine Ridge and hiding himself away from other wolves.
