Khan's fur is primarily a warm-grey color that resembles a sunbathed boulder. Various shades of darker and lighter greys streak or smudge across his body - darker up top, lighter under his belly and along his forelegs. His tail has several streakings of lighter grey, and is capped with a near-black grey. Darker greys smudge along his face and ears, only broken up by warm, light-grey streaks under his eyes.

Inside The Mind
He has a bit of an ego, though may try to deny it depending on the circumstances. Khan is capable of following leadership, though how dedicated he actually is depends on how well this leadership impresses him or imposes itself. And, even then, he may only respond well to those he directly respects - it doesn't trickle down.
A beast with extravagant tastes, Khanalyr is as vain as ever and believes that image is everything. Though he seems to contradict this by willingly appearing run-down and rugged wherever he goes. Perhaps this is an attempt at building up a tough-guy facade.

Biography
Born away from the Teekon Wilds, Khanalyr and his kin took up residence within the paradise of Waterton Lakes, on the border of British Columbia. Rich summers and tolerable winters meant their family group grew in numbers and strength, though they sought out little more than what they needed. Defending their territory was a meager chore, it seemed, and not a severe responsibility as would be necessary should actual threats live nearby. And so they lived, idle and with ease, though the young Khan growing restless, eager, and curious by the week. Even hours of tutoring by their group's Seer could do little to satiate his need for more.
His father, Tyr, often took Khan out on hunts and patrols, telling him stories of lands long past their claim, filled with beasts and cultures that were bursting with histories, with riches, with fallen kings and glorious reigns. Of packs that grew two, no, three times the size of their family, whose laws bid lives of honor, of danger, or vengeance or cold-blooded deeds. Surrounded by a typical family group, these lands all but hypnotized young Khan into a rabid desire.
For now the family lived thrived, thrived and survived, all as one cohesive unit. Until they weren't.
It didn't happen in some dramatic fashion. No blazing fires, no unrecognizable beasts with their hoards, no sudden spikes of plagues coming to rip through them all. Hell, perhaps he would have even favored an internal power struggle that devolved into mutiny. But no. This family, beloved and as careful as it was, fell to the sheer terror and destruction of a single mother grizzly.
Their patrols had been slacking, weighed down by idle dredging. No one had noticed the three bear cubs coming too close. And the one who finally did made the mistake of approaching them - hoping to help. It seemed an instant later that the roars and the rumbled rampage of the incoming mother grizzly bear was let lose on the poor family. Some survived. Some were hurt. Some lay strewn and slain across the ground, their blood never to leave home.
Khan had been dragged away to safety by his father, quickly followed by the Seer, bringing his mother. Their instinct was flee - none that remained were fit to fight.
So they fled, living to fight another day.
But the life they fled for was miserable and drenched in guilt and anguish, burdened by questions to heavy to answer. Soon enough even Khan had to leave, offering what heartbreaking goodbyes he could before he set out, seeking his own future. Seeking a future as vivid and rich and full of opportunities as those tales his father whispered to him.
