Nuka's story is not one of horror and drama. She had a simple life as the first born daughter of an Alpha pair. She lived content with them in the harsh northern lands. She learned quickly how to make each hunt count and how to live through a sparce winter. Upon her father's passing a younger male took up his place, and she moved with him into a leadership role. It was never something she hungered for - but it was a place she fell naturally into. Life was pleasant for the two years that she stayed at his side. She produced 6 fine cubs over two springs and raised them to be healthy members of the pack. She was content to love and lead her pack and to guide the young into the future. It was a role she would have liked to stay in. That was until it happened. . . She wished she could explain what exactly "it" was. There were loud birds, and thunder claps, a sharp sting in her neck and darkness. When she awoke she was alone in the tundra and despite her weeks of searching - she has come to the conclusion that she is alone. Her teets are still swollen with milk and she mourns the loss of her mate and cubs...perhaps, she can find both use and happiness here.
