Mariposa sports a somewhat typical agouti-pattern in reddish browns and dark umber. Her coloration deepens to a dark brown saddle that stretched from the base of her skull down towards her hips and lightens to white on her chin, chest, underbelly and the end of her tail. Her bright red-orange eyes around surrounded by a mask of brown that matches a patch of fur upon her rump. Most notably is a patch of blackish brown that colors her ruff between her shoulder blades that is splattered with flecks of white - a marking that inspires her name.

Poe falls on the larger side of medium due to her height, but is thin and lithe with long fur, a sharp muzzle and a spritely gait.
