Profile of Wilding: Details
Appearance
A primal beauty whose unkempt fur is painted in a menagerie of browns with touches of pangaré and sharp, forest green eyes. Even in the winter, her fur is not excessively plush, giving her a consistently sleek and compact appearance. She stands 31" at the shoulder and weighs 105 lbs — smallish, but still capable of holding her own.
Personality
True Neutral

Primal · Xenophobic · Curious · Keen · Adaptable · Aloof

Because of her inability to understand spoken languages, many would assume she is dull. However, Wilding's mind is sharp like a blade; she absorbs information like a sponge and is constantly searching for more to soak up. This sometimes leads her into trouble, though she's quite adept at getting out of it.

Due to her isolated upbringing, she is highly xenophobic and thus avoids unfamiliar wolves and packs. Though not a malevolent being, she will not needlessly endanger her life for anyone except Beast. She is less assertive than her counterpart but is no pushover either, and while Wilding would rather avoid conflict (and thus the risk of injury) whenever possible, she will not hesitate to defend herself if left with no other options.

She excels at hunting and finds great joy in it, especially fishing, though it's bittersweet now since being estranged from her surrogate mother.
Biography
Pre-Teekons

"Wilding" does not truly have a name, as the mother who raised her did not speak. For she was not a wolf, but a brown bear. Through the grief of losing her own children, she raided a wolf pack's den and stole a pup for herself. Wilding grew up alongside a lost soul, "Beast," who was abandoned by his mother and found by their surrogate ursine one.

They were loved dearly and given all the skills they needed to survive on their own. It was from her mother that Wilding learned to fish, which she caught onto quickly, honing the skill to the sharp point it bears today. Alongside Beast, she also grew accustomed to scavenging, and she doesn't hesitate to seek out nuts and berries when food is scarce.

Unlike wolves, bears do not form packs. When Beast and Wilding were old enough to fend for themselves, their mother chased them off. She was terrified and confused, and she tried several times to return to her mother to keep the only pack she knew whole, but it was to no avail. The pair stuck together, for they were all they had, and though the estrangement from their mother devastated her, she found strength and comfort in Beast. If the two weren't inseparable before, they certainly were now.

They were nomads for many moons, living from meal to meal wherever they could find one. But hormones were in the air, and the pair now desired a suitable place to raise pups together. They'd just started claiming a territory when an earthquake devastated the land, draining their would-be home of all its water and driving the prey far away. This led the pair into the Teekons, where they now seek out a new place to call home.

· It should be noted that, though unable to understand verbal language, she picks up on nonverbal cues expertly. Thus, she can understand the tone of the message a wolf is trying to get across.

· Wilding and Beast communicate primarily through typical canine nonverbal cues, though they do occasionally use a very primitive kind of sign language their mother taught them.

· Beast is nearly always by her side and is thus welcome in all of her threads unless otherwise stated.
