Raised under strict circumstances, Shigetoshi carries himself proper, elegantly and with confidence. Ever since he has left the Kingdom, however, the man has begun to show his true personality, in which he can come across as a royal punk.
He is tall, lean and possesses a short furred coat. The majority of it brown of various shades, splashed with markings darker and lighter than his primary coloration. Most notably, however, is the piebald mutation that gives him wide sweeping white markings across his sides, front toes, and a single dot on the right side of his chest.
From his dog lineage, he has a long tail that curls slightly at the end, and pointed ears.
The beauty of his blue eyes was once treasured, but Shigetoshi has poor day vision due to them being underdeveloped and the harshness of the sun. Though he is not completely blind, he relies on the help of other senses to get around, and prefers the night when his vision is increased.

For multiple generations, the Kudo family has sworn loyalty to the Cedar Pike family. The eldest son of each generation is raised to eventually become the head steward; their tasks begin at a young age with the responsibility of being personal butler of the family's Heir. As a result, it is pre-planned that litters of the Kudo family happen before the birth of the next generation's Heirs to provide excellent service.
Shigetoshi Kudo is the fifth generation, and born a failure. Assigned to a Princess instead of the Heir out of respect for his lineage, the Kudo family feels disgraced by their youngest generation. The Heir is taken care of by a rival.
