Her birth sign is Pisces, and she does indeed have an affinity for water. She is emotional before she is anything else, sometimes overemotional. She is introspective, quiet, and protective of herself, but she also cares deeply for others. She is creative; she often lives in her own world, seeing the mythical creatures of her mother's fairytales where there are none.

Along with her fluid nature, she carries her mother's spirit, who was a coyote and ran free like the wind. This can sometimes cause Naia to forget her introspective nature to go off and fly for a time, but she usually returns to those she cares about.
