Profile of Yildun: Details

Appearance

Born of two very good looking parents, Yildun is definitely not lacking in the handsome department, though he is clearly different from the rest of the family. He has been blessed with a long, soft coat that is pale silver in color from nose to tail. However, on his cheeks, chest and the tip of his tail there are speckles of darker grey, giving the appearance of having freckles.Long gone is the pudgy ball of fur that he was as a child. Having gone through a period where his paws are too big and he will appear to be all legs, but that too passed with time. Now fully grown, he has become lean, almost graceful in appearance, but he will never be a large wolf. He does still have some filling out to do, but as he will never be a large wolf, neither will he be muscled like most others.When Yildun’s eyes opened, it was discovered that his eyes appear to be a glazed, milky-white color, clearly a sign that he was born blind.

Personality

This will clearly be a work in progress as life events will affect how his personality develops.Although as a child, Yildun was always a boy of few words, this has become even more true as he's gotten older. He went through a period after the death of his littermate, Atreides, that he spoke even less than usual, but that eventually passed as he grew to accept Atreides' death. However, since the death of his parents, he has become far more withdrawn and silent than his usual quietness. Whether or not he will be able to get over that is something that only time will tell. But do not mistake his silence for shyness, because that is not what it is. At all. He speaks when spoken to and nothing more.Because of his blindness from birth, his senses of hearing and smell are much more developed and strong, far better than any wolf that does have the use of their eyes. He is able to hear things at distances that most others would not be able to hear until they were much closer to the source.Though he is not shy in the least, he is not as outspoken as others of his age. From a young age, the sightless boy enjoys listening to the things around him. Eventually he developed a strong yearning to listen to the stars. This yearning has continued all this time, even through the tragedy of losing his parents and leaving Sterrenvuur.
