She was born to Wildheart ShadowSinger and Zenzi on the Salish Coast. Born second to her littermate, Jace, she began to make noises as soon as she was born. As a pup she was unaware of her family's history of rages, but as she grew, she began to understand. Luckily, however, she was never afflicted with the condition.

She and her brother were extremely close ever since puphood. They would argue and pick on one another a bit, as siblings do, but he always stuck up for her when she was too shy or scared to stand up for herself. She passed a wonderful puphood learning of the constellations from her mother as well as how to hunt and defend herself in a fight. Her father taught her much about the ways of combat, but she was never much interested beyond simply learning to handle herself adequately. Her father taught her well, having been an elite assassin in his first pack.

All of this changed, though, the day her brother came into the family inheritance. In his rage, he savaged her, leaving a large scar on her shoulder. Though she forgave him, fully understanding that he was beyond control, she did not believe he ever forgave himself. Things were different between them after that, and shortly after, he left. It broke her heart to have him go. After a time, though, she too set out to find a new home for herself outside her parents' pack.

After traveling a while, she happened upon traces of her brother. Following them, she wound up in Teekon Wilds and joined his pack on the Sunspire. It was here that she met Sumayl and, after falling head over heels (literally), agreed to be his mate.

A few weeks later, she left Teekon to visit and meet Sumayl's family. She intended to return, but when she discovered she was pregnant, knew she could not. So she and Sumayl remained to raise their children with his relatives, though she hopes someday her children will know their Uncle Jace.
