Morningstar was born to a wolf mother outside of a pack. He was named after his mothers' father and loved getting told stories about how brave Morningstar was and all the wonderful things he did, and he often imagined that he would someday meet this great wolf, though he knew that, realistically, that would never happen.
He and his three siblings pretty quickly had to learn to fend for themselves, as their mother was killed by hunters early on in their life. He and his youngest sister, Twilight, were very close and spent most of their pup life being together. Their two older brothers ganged up on them due to their smaller size and general omega-like behavior. Everyone was surprised when Morningstar presented as an alpha and after that, his siblings didn't really bother him anymore.
Once they were about 2 years old, Morningstar and Twilight decided to split from their brothers and head off on their own. It was during this journey that everything took a spin for the worse. First, a famine struck and Morningstar nearly killed himself trying to bring food for his sister. Next, a hostile pack of wolves nearly killed both of them for trespassing on their territory. And finally, a polluted river that they both drank from killed the weak and starving Twilight, leaving Morningstar alone, hungry, and terrified out of his mind.
Eventually, he made his way to the Teekon Wilds, as he heard about the place from wandering wolves such as himself. He hopes to find a family and safety and to finally forget the horrors that haunt his mind.
