Small, quite small. He stands shorter and smaller than most females. He is light but not scrawny, proportionally muscular but with a distinct runner's build - Eriol is very, very fast. Just don't ask him to do any heavy lifting or fight a bear. His features are somewhat delicate, he'd be loathed to admit, but he is masculine enough to not be mistaken for a she-wolf most of the time. Perhaps, with age, he will bulk up just a bit more. His fur is on the silken side though not technically long - it grows more distinct in winter and is almost entirely lost in the summer.

His color is a deep, rich shade of black and red-brown that is slashed and hacked to pieces with white. Perhaps it is a carry-over from the bit of dog in his lineage, again he'd be loathe to admit, but his coat is a broken piebald in pattern. His nose is primarily darkly pigmented but does sport a few dots of pink here and there. His eyes are bight shade of green and the left bares a splash of heterochromatic yellow in it.
