Mexican wolves are on the smaller end of the spectrum with Halian being a prime example, even for a male. He does not exceed eighty-five pounds when well fed, and stands to twenty-nine inches to the shoulder. His body is sleek and his coat is light. He is well suited for warmer climates with a coat that mirrors the dry arid landscape of home: buff, russet, and bronze mingle in a wolf-sable pattern across his body; in the winter his nape grows a bit heavier with silver tufts. Halian's eyes are the color of freshly minted pennies.
