A black-phase wolf with yellow eyes. During the bulk of the year he is a deep grey with dark counter-shades and furnishings, while in winter he "phases" silver across his top-line.

When this man passes by he is a full head higher than beasts of more average proportion; tall in an unattractive sense, as if he only recently ceased growing and all of his body's energy was spent in becoming sharp, lean, and raggedy. Without that height he would be average in every other regard. A svelte core and tucked belly, soot-marked along the ventral edge of everything. Legs, underside, chest, throat, face—a chunk of wrought-iron dragged through ink. In the winter months the dull grey of his scruff gains more pronounced agouti barring, sort of like platinum frosting, but the rest of the year he is a mixture of nondescript grey-on-black. The darkness of his face should've faded as he matured (as is typical of wolves) however he retains the dark cheeks, snout, and brow, making the lemon-yellow of his eyes stand out harshly. His gaze is shy; he looks nervous to any and all that peer upon him, and yet, he refuses to look away when challenged. As of yet he has no visible scars, and evidently healthy judging by the oil-slick quality of his dense coat.

The only son of a vagabond (Weyland) and a young girl (Ripley) whom was charmed by him. When she discovered that she was pregnant she went in search of help from neighbouring packs, eventually travelling along the coast where she met the wolves of Tortuga, and made a deal with a woman with medical skill. The final weeks of the pregnancy were very hard on the girl. She survived the ordeal but was left with a single surviving child (Yutani) along with deteriorating health. Ripley was alive for the first few months of her son's life, leaving him in the care of the old woman when she passed. After a year Yutani desired more for himself, and left. He ran with a rogue band until the leader's arrogance and lack of forethought got the better of them; the death of his friend was a jarring experience—and the successor (Tillamook) had a violent streak—so when Yutani saw a chance to leave, he did.
