a mirror of his long deceased grandfather, gleipnir pays strict physical homage to the legendary norseman whose genes he shares, bearing the same tall build, cunning visage, glacial gaze and platinum silver pelage. some might claim he is the legendary berserker himself resurrected from valhalla. and though they are just rumors, he bears the old man's muzzle and facial scars done in ritual of this belief.
voice & accent.left side of his face is deliberately marred with scars long healed, but had never been covered with fur - the cuts had been purposefully arranged to make a shape that while appears random has semblance to odinn; also bears three small scars on his muzzle where the fur is not long in a perfect and eerie replica of ragnar.

born to kjalarr and valka✝, the latter of which died in childbirth. jarl siv is his milkmother, notable because he is very close to her. had three unnamed siblings who survived into childhood but one died of illness, while gleipnir killed the other two during hólmganga ( a fight to the death to settle disputes ).
