Seale was born to a young mother under questionable circumstances. His father was unknown but rumored to be a violent outsider, and the only other pup who survived birth was a brother, Krishna. Fortunately, the leaders of his small, familial pack were fair and kind, allowing the boys and their mother to remain in the pack and assisting the young she-wolf in the care of her children.

As they aged differences in Seale and Krishna became apparent. While the boys were close, Seale was the softer of the two while his brother became brash, loud and at times, violent. Seale seemed always to be sticking up for his brother's uncouth behavior, ever loyal to his best friend and sibling. One day, however, Krishna's aggression went too far, resulting in the death of their alpha male's son. Krishna was doomed to execution and imprisoned by two of their more brawny pack mates.

Unwilling to watch his brother die, Seale created a distraction and assisted his brother in his escape. The pair fled north, traveling amid a harsh winter. Eventually a snowstorm separated them, and Seale ended up in the Teekon wilds. Krishna's whereabouts are yet unknown.
