A considerably large child with long limbs and massive paws, though he lacks the bulkiness of a full grown adult. While the dusky fur upon his shoulder blades and tail tip will lighten with age, Astyanax's face, stomach and legs will darken, with some areas taking on a blue-green sheen. His paw pads are an oddly delightful shade of pink and will remain that way into adulthood, while his eyes have fully transitioned to a bright cyan that shine with a predatory aspect. Reference.
