Naya wishes she remembered her mother's face, but it seems like she blocked every memory she had of her pup life. She's been with Malcom, her brother, for as long as her memory goes. They're always together because eachother is all they've had since their mother died trying to protect them from a grizzly bear when they were just pups. They'd be dead too if it wasn't for their foster mother, Alana, an old wolfess who found them in their den, frightened and defenseless. She took them as her own and taught them basic hunting so they managed to stay alive. The sickness took Alana when Naya and her brother were roughly a year old, and they've been on their own ever since. The pair traveled from the dangerous forests of Canada in an attempt of getting away from the dangers that threatened their lives, and after months of non-stop wandering, they got to the Teekon Wilds, hoping for a fresh start.
