Appearance
A dark grey coating of fur, with a yellowed-grey chest up to his face. The yellowing ends just over his blue eyes. He has a somewhat bulked build, blue intense eyes. His tail seems to be a bit cut off from a fight, or some kind of incident. That And two lines on his back is the only form of scarring he has, as the rest seems rather bare of injuries or reminders of such things.
Personality
He may hold respect to those higher than himself, but Phoebus believes himself above the rules, just as they are. Seeing himself high up in the clouds, metaphorically speaking, and if no one talks him out of it enough or brings him down a step, Phoebus is going to act against the set rules before him.
He can be quite the obnoxious wolf to be around, yet at times can be awfully bright. Usually humming around to himself some ill tune, or a rewarding sound...or simply howling right in another's ear to graciously annoy them. While this all may be the case, that's only his bad side.
The more kind side can be seen at times, if he chooses to show it off. A caring male, showing some care to those in need, especially those shown to be rather sickly. That is where he shines.

Biography
Living in Norhtern Oregon, Phoebus was born among four wolf pups to a hunter father and a stargazing mother. This is about as much as he could remember of his puphood, as while his parents looked away to tend to a sibling, fate struck.
Fate, in the form of an eagle swept him up in its talons, carrying him off. His constant wailing and wriggling, along with a conflicting eagle coming along caused him to be dropped into a river, swept downstream.
Being so young, he had to survive for a month on his own with rabbits and other small critters he happened to find until another pack found Phoebus. Having not been taught, Phoebus grew up lacking respect and while eventually it was learned still Phoebus saw himself higher, especially in hunting. After much reprimanding on some actions, he left to find a place that would see him as higher, or put him further in his place.
