Having lost her parents and then remaining family at a young age, Esther is a survivor, but she never fully developed her social skills. She has strong morals and wouldn't hurt anyone without reason. She sets high standards for herself because that is the only way she knows to survive, but this same critical thinking limits her when meeting other wolves. She still needs to learn how to behave around others.
