In his youth and leading into his prime, Fallstag was the alpha of his pack- having followed protocol and ousted the previous alpha from not only his seat but from the pack, as was tradition, when he was two years old. He maintained his position, but leaned heavily on bending the rules when it came to breeding rights, as he was a jealous man with a wandering eye. When he turned five, one young female denied him, he went into a rage and slaughtered her sweetheart; she fled into the wilderness, running for the mountains she'd allegedly come from. But the wolf he'd slaughtered had a vengeful brother, who then rose up to oust Fallstag from his lofty throne, and banished him from the pack. He tended to his wounds- and began to search for the one who'd gotten away, with all intentions of making her pay for his pains.
