A unique brown coloration of the Thawdrift lineage is his carob colored pelage, a tasteful hue of the color cedar that is cooled down in tone and consistent throughout his figure. His fur grows considerably fleecy during colder months, and despite what season it is, his fur has a wispy quality to the carob hairs (Haiku was often teased as a juvenile carrying a “feminine” quality to his fur but has learned to accept and adore it in his adult years) Eyes are a bright, zesty tangerine with flecks of marigold surrounding the irises. His gaze is kindred to a flickering fire, burning with vitality and easily the windows to his soul as his eyes are very telling of his current emotion. His build is consistent with the large frame of the Mackenzie subspecies, holding a broad upper body in shoulders and chest.
Personality
A charismatic wordsmith who is exceptionally curious about the world around him. Has a “glass is half-full” outlook toward life. Having the gift of mirroring other’s experiences and understanding emotions that underpin the experience, he gives any presence in his company his full focus and attention. Add this to his light, inquisitive personality gives him a refreshing sex appeal. Always seeking the dynamic, he is capable of easily getting bored and favors variety. Although he tends to use logic instead of emotion, he can get protective over matters arising with individuals exceptionally close to him. Capable of developing an interest quickly, he will then drop it at the blink of an eye. Inconsistent in many areas of life, it doesn't serve him well as stability is a trait he needs to learn better.

Biography
The Thawdrifts are a large family lineage and have been so consistently throughout centuries in their region of Gros Morne, located in the outlying range of the Appalachian Mountains. Shaped by continents and glaciers throughout time, Gros Morne is French for “large mountain standing alone” or more literally, “great sombre”. Haiku was fortunate to grow in a tight-knit family consisting of several siblings and an endless number of relatives and cousins. Growing up on stories and lore of travel from his father, he aspired to be like him as an adult. As soon as he turned one year old, he set off to explore the wilderness surrounding Gros Morne. Unable to keep his wanderlust at bay, he informed his family he wanted to travel farther than the surrounding areas of the Appalachians. Despite the reluctance, they first showed and all of the benefits he would be leaving behind, Haiku decided to follow the “call of the wild” and set out to destinations unknown. His travels would lead him upon the Teekon Wilds.

  • Haiku has an affinity toward scented things, especially when a unique scent is present on another wolf. His favorite scent so far is cedarwood, to which he occasionally will rub himself against the bark of cedarwood trees when he can find one
  • Haiku does not like water, whether being submerged or lightly splashed (quickest way to get on his bad side is doing this) His attitude toward it is akin to a feline's dislike for water. Haiku also has a fear of deep water which is deep-rooted in a traumatic experience he had when he was a pup
