Cian was runt of a litter of three born to his mother, Pasha. She was a lone wolf by the time her pups came along, having been exiled from her pack for mating with an outsider. So Cian never knew his father. He only had his mother and his brother, Corvo, to think about.

From the start, Cian could see that his brother was his mother's favorite. It was almost as if they could communicate in their minds, leaving Cian feeling like the odd one out. He tried desperately to compensate, often setting out on his own in an effort to bring back prey or trinkets for the small family. These excursions were almost never successful, however, and almost always led only to trouble, which Corvo or Pasha would bail Cian out of.

As he matured, Cian became more and more brash, rushing headlong into situations, realizing too late that he'd made a mistake. His brother was always there, helping him, but somehow this helping hand only made Cian hate Corvo more. He was so... perfect. And there was Cian.

One fateful day, after the two males were grown, the family set out hunting. They crossed paths with another group of wolves. Words were exchanged. A fight broke out. Cian realized too late it was a fight they could not win. He saw his mother go down, and then his brother, and knowing he would be next he ran for his life.

He didn't stop until months later, the haze of loss, of guilt, of everything, masking many of his physical needs. Now, having found the Teekons, Cian has managed to gain back a bit of body weight and a bit of sanity, but its unlikely to last for long.
