Finnur approaches the taller size-range of wolves though most of his bulk comes from his thick winter coat. The summer heat sheds this coat to reveal a lean, athletic frame still clinging to adolescent proportions but swiftly gaining adult strength and durability. His appearance is mostly that of white, grey and black, shades of orange-brown making an effort to seep through but unable to dominate. Striking are his eyes. Not so at first—at least not until one notices they are miss-matched, the left paler and more blue than the piercing turquoise of the right. The effect is so subtile, however, most will never realise it’s there.
