Profile of Ryzhov: Details
Appearance
Ryzhov might appear otherwise ordinary at a glance. His fur is a pristine tawny coloring pattern commonly found in East Timber Wolves. It is only upon further inspection of his right eye that one might find something peculiar: heterochromia iridium. His right eye is not simply the olive color of his left, but has a small patch of blue in it's upper right corner. He is a man of large stance and stature, towering over many of his enemies with defined muscles built through years of training how to hunt and fight. He has three defined scars on his right shoulder from combat, scarring because they did not heal right at first.

Fierce anger issues and raw emotional outbursts prevent anyone from labelling Ryzhov as a sociopath or psychopath. He is perfectly capable of feeling emotions, he simply has figured out a way to shove them down until they pile up. It becomes a vicious cycle, and one that has ruined many friendships throughout life... except one.
Ryzhov was raised in a very particular culture, and that culture instilled very specific views in him. He is a misogynist. A woman will always be the last wolf he minds or listens to. They are simply meant to serve, be present but never heard. They are not allowed to have opinions. As a result, he is temperamental and can fly off the handle when these norms are violated. That being said, he is capable of treating women well, he just prefers not to. If he sees a larger motive he might play along with their wants or intentions.
Apart from that, he is strategic and cold. He thinks logically unless his views are insulted. He's the good solider pushing on. He respects a strict chain of command and desires power without the responsibility of leading: an ideal beta male. He has a swift paw with no tender touch. Children disgust him, but are an inevitable means to an end. Women are worth nothing more than how much they can carry in their womb, and other men are only strong if they can accept punishment and violence as a way of life.

Biography
Some say that Ryzhov was simply not born right... others say it was the absence of love that made him this way. Either way, it does not change the facts. He was born to a pack called Zaderzhaniye, a place of rogues banding together as a means of survival. They neighbored a pack called Cold Stone Trail, a militant pack that often recruited them for missions and to help train their young. When he was fully weaned, his mother disappeared. His father was left spiteful of his existence but saw an opportunity. His heart was nurtured with hatred. His father, spiteful at his mate's disappearance, taught Ryzhov of a woman's place... the teachings of Cold Stone Trail with whom they were closely allied only solidified.
Where Dimitri Callas became beta of the Trail, Ryzhov became beta of Zaderzhaniye. They worked closely together, and in many ways, these two packs were effectively one. Dimitri was one of the few wolves that Ryzhov could trust beyond a simple warrior's understanding, and it showed in the friendship and bond they developed. Ryz knew that Dimitri craved more, and he was prepared to help him get it.
On the eve of his friend's wedding, the bride fled. He saw the rage that encompassed him, and Ryzhov was reminded of the betrayal of his own mother. He left the packs behind to follow his friend, loyal to him and serving him until the end of the line, no matter what. They views were the same, and Ryzhov had found a bond that would last a lifetime. He was not prepared to give it up. He watched his descent into obsession, his friend becoming Virion, and with it came only a deeper and more profound respect.
