Biography
Nazli was born in the catacombs of Akashingo in to the ranks of the fellahin. Her biological mother is Jawahir and her biological father is Asmodeus, although for a time Jawahir tried to pass her kids off as the offspring of Ramesses. Jawahir was not an active parent in her life, and so Nazli was raised more by the other fellahin and the resident sesh, Tavina.
Early on she drew the eye of Ramesses as well as his daughter, Makono. A number of the mazoi found friendship in her as well. She befriended the priests Senmut and Akhtar—and as a whole, was beloved for her attentiveness to her duty and persistent work-ethic.
Her life went a little askew after the death of Ramesses. Powers shifted, people fled, and Nazli found herself living with the wolves of Greatwater Lake; her friend Khaba having fled in the night and taken her along, which as a whole was a confusing experience. She did not fit in well with the more feral beasts of the lake pack, and was at wits end. Eventually Nazli felt inclined to leave them, and was lost in the wilds as a result. As a fellahin she was not trained in hunting, although she picked up some things while visiting Mereo, and barely survived while starving in the wilderness.
Her return to Akashingo was a surprise to all, who were now faced with the withered figure of young Nazli as she was nursed back to health by Tavina. When it became clear that Tavina could do no more to help her, Nazli was taken to a group of healers outside of the Teekon for further aid.
After treatment, she went to live in Muat-Riya to be close to Tavina, and away from the bad memories of her time as fellahin. She discovered what would become the great temple, and assumed the role of hemet. She traveled to the coast as part of a trade expedition. And when it came time to bless Pharaoh Toula's future as a woman, mother, and goddess, Nazli participated in a special rite along with Senmut to bring properity, health, and good fortune to the ruler (and their womb); but also, she co-opted the ritual with a hidden prayer to Nwt, seeking her own children.
On June 20th Nazli became a mother.
