Hyssop has a coat of soft, cloud grey dappled with charcoal smudges that help to break up her silhouette and aid in camouflage. She has massive paws, slippers to carry her silently and allow her to surf across deep snow. When she is on the move she looks long-limbed, but can curl herself down into a small puff of fur when she crouches.

She has a square-ish look to her face, framed by thick fur at her cheeks, and tall tufted ears. Dark lines trail down from the outside of each eye down her cheeks, to a point below her chin on either side. Her eyes are large, expressive, watchful- a shade of yellow so pale it might look grey in direct light.
