Dysis has an intricate history revolving around religion. From the time of her birth, she was compared to the beauty that Aphrodite herself beholds, but the trivial times of fawning over her beauty were not to be. Dysis was raised in a grand cathedral that held altars to the gods at every turn, and she would pursue much of her knowledge during this period of her younger life. She was trained in the historic way of the gods, able to observe their physical features from the carefully carved stone before her. The young beauty was exclusively taught the Greek Gods during her training at the behest of her parents. Her family stemmed from one of the founding wolves of the very pack that inhabited her homelands. The young woman was given a silver spoon in her mouth quickly, but it was a short lived luxury in a pack destined to burn in their own flames. As the cathedral settled into a civil war from the opposing Romans, Dysis found that the only thing that remained of her past life were the very ashes she walked upon. The young wolf lost everything in the crossfire, and it was painfully obvious that the foolishness of mortals were left to blame. She spent many weeks cursing Ares as she searched the grounds for what might have been left of her family, but she set off on her own after the rain had washed away the ash from the stone ground. The maiden made haste to the lands that were once spoken of by the wolves in the cathedral, hoping that her family might have been there. It did not take long for the denial to wear off, but it left behind a large, simmering hole in the she wolf. Dysis would never be the same again. Always quick to anger and ruthless whenever she is challenged due to her beliefs, because the events of her past prove to her the existence of the very gods that Dysis is devoted to.
