Erebus' has been a long life. As a child he was picked up by his considerably bigger siblings and he felt like an outcast for most of his young life. But it was this which taught him the value of the mind. Knowing that he would never be a capable warrior as his siblings, he came up to his father asking to teach him strategy and for years the young crow remained at his side learning the art of cunning.


Erebus is shrewd, educated, and calculating, which earned him his father's preference among his siblings. He is capable of cruelty to his enemies, but also shows great sympathy for those who can't stand for themselves. Even though he is no warrior, he has instances where he shows great bravery; he has stated that what he lacks in size and strength he makes up for in mental acuity. He displays high intelligence and great promise, revealing himself to be as politically savvy and astute as his father.
