draped in snowfall and honey, melisande is soft. thick fur hangs heavy around her long neck, framing the smooth planes of her face. primarily white with rust accents, the woman was made for the snowy mountains bordering her homeland. fine bones create the regal structure of her build—an homage to her fine breeding. thick lashes frame her blue eye, often pulled up with her smile. her right eye, a milky white, is surrounded by thick scars. the flesh there is unmoving, unfeeling. even so, its hard to ignore the general warmth she exudes. since she is blind in one eye, you will often find her angling her head oddly in order to see what's happening around her. melisande's gait is airy, her movements akin to those of a dancer—particularly on snow and ice.

melisande, perhaps self-righteously, believes that her past traumas were the gods' way of bestowing her with the gift of healing. having endured pain herself the woman knows how to help those who need her. deeply empathetic, she listens not only with her ears, but also her heart. she knows that a major part of healing is done in the mind. as such, she is always ready to offer an ear or shoulder to cry on. despite her sweet nature, melisande is not afraid to dish out hard truths when needed. this is aided by her strong religious faith. the gods wouldn't mess up after all. sacrifice is a major part of this. she is not afraid to fast or shed her own blood in appeasement to heal those that rely on her. her optimism can become overbearing, drowning out needs for space with her mother hen attitude. melisande greatly enjoys the company of others, always flocking to someone to prattle off her latest ideas to.
