Profile of Mictec: Details
Appearance
Mictec is a creature born on a night with no moon, perceived as a dark omen that matched her equally unnerving obsidian fur. all colors seemingly vanish in the void of her coat, one that has grown to cover the scars she bears. her medium, athletic build makes her not appear as a threat at first glance, but her many battles have given her an aura of pure fear or desire on whoever lays eyes upon her. she bears a curious marking on her face, one that begun as a porcelain white speck above her left eye as a pup that grew to surround the left side of her face. when one looks upon her, in the dead of night, they see what looks like a partial skull luring them to their doom as piercing marigold eyes like that of the cempasúchitl, give false hope of salvation. on her right ear, she bears an unnatural accessory, a small yellow tag with the number 23 that clung to her pierced ear like a symbol of a past she wished to be rid of and a constant fuel for hate.

Personality
Mictec does not believe in a good or evil, instead she believes in balance. she often finds herself dancing the line in between, doing only what is to be believed to maintain that neither of the two sides of the scale should be favored. that does not mean however that she will take a peaceful approach. her chaotic neutral nature carved into a quiet, lethal force, draining her of all sense of humor having endured much trauma in her past. Mictec no longer knows what it means to be part of pack and carries an intense longing for family but has yet to foster any real connections. her desire to sit back and watch the world burn has turned many away or had been left dead and can no longer tell their tales of la catrina.
Biography
she was born on the night the moon did not rise on the eve of dia de los muertos and thus bore the name of Mictēcacihuātl, goddess of the underworld. from a young age, she showed immense talent in the hunt, often times wandering out on her own for hours on end. local humans would tell stories of the dark entity, whose every kill of their herds seemed to make the white patch on her face grow larger, almost like a half skull face. they begun to call her la catrina, the ferrier of lost souls to the dead and feared her power would only continue to grow.

her pack elders feared she had gone to far and that the humans would come to exterminate them all for her actions thus leading to her banishment. left to fend for herself, she begun to kill no longer for game but for pleasure until she found herself cornered and captured by the humans. when she came to, she noticed that her right ear throbbed, a piercing boring strange markings. the humans feared that if they were to sentence her to death, she would return in a ghostly vestige as the goddess of death herself so they opted to track her whereabouts and transport her far from their village of Mictlān. left to wander these new, strange wilds, Mictec has spent many nights wondering how she ended up where she did, a lone wolf fending off against many enemies.

one night, she had awoken, haunted by the memories of the cruelty she faced while in captivity of the humans she saw the monarch butterfly. she followed it until she found herself crossing into the Teekon Wilds and with a renewed sense of trying to redefine who she was. like the cempasúchitl leading the dead, Mictec has come to learn the need for balance and is constantly fighting her inner turmoil for chaos. She has long abandoned her surname and has now come to forge her own as Itzcóatl the "obsidian serpent" as she redfines herself.
